ParaCheer International is a new charitable organisation. ParaCheer International is working with the International Cheerleading Union (ICU) to develop ParaCheer as a new division within the sport of Cheerleading and will become the recognised representative body for ParaCheer throughout the world.

Officially registered with the UK Charities Commission in May 2015, ParaCheer International is now working to appoint a full Board of Trustees who will be responsible for governance and direction of policy for ParaCheer. Currently ParaCheer International is run by it’s three founding trustees, plus two additional trustees. The intention is for the future board to be elected via a democratic process.

This website aims to provide the reader with information about the new sport of ParaCheer including up to date bulletins as the sport is developed. This is also the place to come to find out about the progress of UK national squads representing at the Cheerleading Worlds competition. The ICU has officially approved ParaCheer divisions in Cheer and Freestyle Pom and will be running divisions for these in 2017.
